![]() ![]() Ndsolutions What exactly was wrong with the previous queuing system anyway? What happened to first come, first served? You sign up as number 15 in the queue, and you get card number 15. It used to be advantageous to register products for the same household under the same account - now it seems it's the opposite. There is already a one per household limit on most of the SKU's, so it's not like each member of the family can have a 3080 Ti FTW3 anyway. So, if my son wants to upgrade his card, why shouldn't i create an account for him? Seems to me that with the introduction of the new queue, individual accounts is exactly what EVGA want you to do. It's clear that under the new terms this is now disadvantageous. I've built pc's for my kids and for my wife, i've made the purchases through my account for conveniences. Explain How you know that his wife didn't fully approve his creating the Account, and that her details/payment method won't be used to make the purchase. Ok, I'm sure a moderator will be along soon.ĭoes having a wife violate the TOS? Explain just why a legally individual person, can not sign up for an account. as i said im still waiting for my notify which apparently isnt happening anytime soon, and thanks for your advice, i opened a new account for my wife. Yeah people posted screenshots in a discord im in. When they all get banned there will be one less person in the queue. Please feel free to setup as many accounts as you like. Why? open a new account using different details, my wife for example If you had used a new account, you stood a good chance of being banned and that wouldn't have helped. but its funny because if i would have used a new account and signed up for the queue i would have received a notification by now. With 1000+ points and no email yet, i did purchase a 3080ti ftw so i guess im at the back of the line in my tier. yeah the queue is working as intended indeed Flint 1760 yoelpeled well, a very quick signup 6:00:32 AM PT ![]() i know someone with 3 accounts, received 3/3 notifications. and from my understanding thats exactly what alot of other peeps did. Nop, what this suggests is that i will simply create a new account for the next queues. With 1000+ points and no email yet, i did purchase a 3080ti ftw so i guess im at the back of the line in my tier.īut its funny because if i would have used a new account and signed up for the queue i would have received a notification by now.Īs inconvenient as it is for you, this suggests to me that the queue is working as intended as more people who have not received a card from the queue are being prioritized. Or I could've spent the next two years in EVGA's "queue" waiting and hoping. I could've bought a dozen more cards in the span of a few days. Two days later, the same store received another shipment of 3080's, 3070's, and 3070 Ti's. So the next morning, I was first in the door, and first out with my purchase. I checked their stock levels the night before, and noticed they had two cards in stock. I've already picked up a 3080 Ti (non-EVGA) by going down to the local computer store and standing outside for 15 minutes in the morning before the store opened. I guarantee you'll have your cards much sooner than you would with whatever queue version EVGA has implemented. And if you're already out and about, go drive down to your local computer store (or whatever retailer you have nearby) once or twice a week. If you have enough time on your hands to earn thousands of points from doing nothing but posting nonsense on EVGA's forums, do yourselves a favor and go outside for some fresh air once in a while. Why wasn't that good enough? For all you people holding your breath and hoping, stressing, and getting aggravated, take my advice and move on. What exactly was wrong with the previous queuing system anyway? What happened to first come, first served? You sign up as number 15 in the queue, and you get card number 15. As for video cards, hell, there are plenty of options besides EVGA. Seasonic makes the best power supplies anyway, so why would I give my money to EVGA? So that they can reward people who post and whine incessantly on their forums? No, thanks. So I'd like to wish everybody the best of luck, but I'm done with EVGA. Meanwhile, people who've purchased significantly less in terms of dollar value have ridiculously high scores in the thousands. Both purchased within the last two years. I have a registered 3070 FTW3 Ultra and a SuperNOVA 1200 P2. So, as I expected, this new 3.0 queue turned out to be yet another EVGA cluster you-know-what. ![]()
